The principle of the ultraviolet laser marking machine is that 355nm ultraviolet light irradiates the surface coating of the soft film, causing a chemical change in the layer to produce a color change. Since the UV light only reacts with the coating, it will not penetrate the flexible film packaging.

However, this detachment leads to the separation of the molecules from the material. Heat, because this does not generate heat, the way of ultraviolet laser processing has become cold processing, which is the source and the difference from traditional lasers.
